Dr. Jane Quinlan

“In 2021 I decided to set up a scholarship.  I am a doctor – a consultant in anaesthetics and pain management - working in Oxford, I’m married and have three grown-up children. I was lucky enough to have been brought up in a supportive family, and my children have had similar good fortune, so it felt a good time to pay that privilege forward.”

“The Quinlan Scholarship has not only provided me with financial stability during university but has also provided me with a lifelong mentor who provides support and guidance when I need it. I am grateful to be a recipient of this scholarship and encourage all care leavers to apply to this!”
